Be sure to check to make sure you made your booking on the intended day and time by checking the details in your confirmation email. If you did not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder or contact us at to make sure your reservation and payment went through.
All changes to reservations must be made BEFORE 7PM day before your scheduled adventure. A $5/person service fee applies to cancellations. There are no fees for rescheduling. NO refunds or rescheduling will occur for those who notify Elora Rapids after 7pm or for no-shows.
For example, if a group of 5 contacts us BEFORE 7PM the day before their scheduled adventure and wishes to change their reservation to only 3 people, they will receive a refund for the 2 individuals who are not renting equipment minus a $10 fee ($5 for each person). Rescheduling a reservation to a different day does not incur a fee as long as you alert Elora Rapids BEFORE 7PM the day before your scheduled adventure.
HOW TO MAKES CHANGES TO YOUR RESERVATION
Email Elora Rapids at BEFORE 7PM at least the day before your scheduled adventure. Include in the email the name that was entered on the BOOK ONLINE page, the change you want made to your reservation, as well as the last 4 digits of the credit card that was used. Refunds will typically be issued within 24 hours of receiving your email but may take up to 7 business days to process depending on your banking institution. A confirmation of the refund will be sent to the email you used to alert Elora Rapids of the alteration/cancellation.
And, did we mention - NO refunds or rescheduling will occur for those who notify Elora Rapids after 7pm the day before your scheduled adventure or for no-shows.
Check the Elora Rapids 'HOME PAGE and/or 'BOOK ONLINE' page for closures before leaving home. Elora Rapids will make every effort to post closures by 9am. We realize that this is not necessarily enough time for those coming from afar. For this reason, it is recommended to monitor the weather forecast leading up to your adventure day. If poor weather looks highly likely, feel free to postpone your trip according to the deadlines listed above.
If storms end up cancelling all river activities for the entire day we we will do our best to issue full refunds in a timely manner to all participants scheduled to rent equipment for that day. Elora Rapids will email and or call/text customers to let them know of the cancellation.
Do not assume river tubing is closed if the weather in your area is not pleasant. Always check the website. Oftentimes, if thunderstorms are in the area, tubing activities may just close for a few hours (if the storms pass) or for the full day (if the threat remains). If you show up to pick up your equipment rental from Elora Rapids and the weather prevents river tubing operations to commence, you will receive a full refund.
